Arbol Farmers Market

The Arbol Farmers Market was established in 2020 as an initiative to increase food security and to support our local farmers in the North Fork Valley.

Originally, the venue was set at a small farm on Lamborn Mesa. The 2020 market season was a success and the weekly event outgrew its space. In 2021, the Arbol Farmers Market was relocated to Paonia Town Park.

Become a Sponsor

We are asking for your sponsorship for the 2021 Arbol Farmers Market in Paonia Town Park. With your help, we can vitalize the farmers market and ensure its success for years to come. Your support will enable us to create an abundant, safe local farmers market where our community has access to fresh organic produce.

The Arbol Farmers Market debuted last season, in 2020 at Arbol Farm on Lamborn Mesa in Paonia. The market was initiated by local organizations The Learning Council and Viva la Vida as a way to increase food security and bolster the prosperity of local farmers. Customers were able to shop safely, listen to live music, use their SNAP benefits, and receive a community meal prepared by The Learning Council. We intend for all of these valuable services to continue into this market season. The 2020 market was a huge success and quickly outgrew the space.

This year, the farmer’s market is relocating to Paonia Town Park, ensuring that the market can safely grow in vendors and in attendees for years to come. By supporting this blossoming market, you are helping to: increase local food security, bring more folks into town to support our region’s economy, and create a vibrant public space in our park.
