Aug 30-Sep 20 – September Cooking Class prepares lunches on Thursdays using local and organic ingredients. Each meal is unique and offers flavors from many cultures.

Oct 1-Nov 29 – Rehearsals for the musical tale, Why Mosquitoes Buzz in People’s Ears, will take place. Community performance on Nov 29, 6:30pm, at the Blue Sage.
Oct. 19 – African Dance Class participants will learn movements inspired by traditional African dance. Rujeko’s style of movement reflects her dance experience in Fela! The Musical, as well as her study of West African, Congolese and ballet techniques.
Oct 23 – Mbira classes will help the student understand that the music is both medicine and food, as mbira has the power to heal and to provide for the people. House concert follows the sessions.
