Holiday Collaboration
The Learning Council and Viva la VidaDec 29 and 31

There will be a pot luck for the participants of the Parzival workshop on December 29th. This is a time for sharing our experiences and our art work following our weekend together exploring our biographies and the archetypal pictures from the legend of Parzival. We will gather at 41725 O Road in Paonia at 6 p.m.
On December 31st, New Year’s Eve, we will have an afternoon gathering to study and reflect on the evolution of the plant kingdom and what images we can gift to specific plants for the coming year. This is an artistic and reverent expression of our support for the evolution of each plant to become what “they” wish to become, rather than what we as humans desire. These are preparatory steps for working with our seeds for next spring as farmers and gardeners. All are welcome to join us. Please email us below to let us know you will attend and to learn more about the activities. We will gather at 1 p.m., also at 41725 O Road in Paonia.
Later that night we will have our traditional New Year’s Meditation and the stirring of the Three Kings’ Preparation. We gather at 10.30 p.m. to spend some social time together, followed by a silent meditation and gestures we practice together to welcome in the coming year with our hearts and our intentions. From 11.45 p.m. to 12.15 a.m. we remain in silence whilst grinding the Three Kings’ Preparation of frankincense, myrrh, and gold.
All our gatherings are sharing moments: of our stories, our hearts, our food, and our love for one another and all life. At this most silent and contemplative time of year, we extend the invitation to join us.
