In honor of Disability Pride Month, writer, speaker and disability rights activist Emily Ladau joins Taya Jae on the Pen and The Sword to discuss her book, Demystifying Disability, What to Know, What to Say and How to be an Ally.

Following a decision last November by the town of Paonia to not allow Pride Flags to be displayed on its light poles along Grand Avenue, numerous volunteers from The Learning Council stepped up with the Color the Town Campaign.
The city of Delta held its first annual, Cinco de Mayo celebration. The night was filled with fun, authentic food, entertainment and live music.
